This policy explains what Femish BizAI ("we", "the app") collects, why, and the choices you have. Femish BizAI is a business record-keeping app for owners and their staff.
What we collect
- Account details: your name, email address (owners) or username (staff), and a securely hashed password. We never store your password in readable form.
- Business records you enter: business name and currency, products, stock, sales, receipts, customers (names and optional contact details), suppliers, expenses, budgets, goals and related notes.
- Staff accounts: the names, usernames, roles and permissions an owner sets for their staff, and a record of who recorded which sale.
- Subscription and payment status: your plan and payment references. Card details are entered on Paystack's page and are never seen or stored by us.
- Technical data: basic logs (time, request type, error codes, IP address) used to keep the service secure and working.
- AI requests: when you choose to use Ask Femish AI, the question you type and a summary of the business figures needed to answer it.
How we use it
- To run the app: sign you in, sync your records between your devices and our servers, and show reports.
- To let owners manage staff access.
- To process subscription payments and send account emails such as email confirmation and password reset.
- To protect the service against abuse and fix problems.
We do not sell your data and we do not use it for advertising.
Who we share it with
- Paystack processes subscription payments.
- An AI provider receives your AI questions and the minimum business summary needed to answer them, only when you use the AI feature and have agreed to it. Each AI answer is a draft for you to review.
- Our hosting and email providers store and deliver the service on our behalf.
- Authorities, where the law requires it.
Within a business, the owner can see all of that business's records. Staff see only what the owner allows.
Storage and security
Records are stored on your phone and, when you connect, on our servers. Traffic is encrypted in transit. Passwords are hashed, sign-in attempts are limited, accounts lock after repeated wrong passwords, and staff access is checked on the server for every request.
How long we keep it
We keep your account and business records while your account is open. When you ask us to delete your account we remove or anonymise your personal data within 30 days, except records we must keep by law (for example payment and tax records), which we keep only as long as required.
Your choices
- Correct your records at any time in the app.
- Owners can disable or remove staff accounts at any time.
- Ask for a copy of your data or for deletion: see Delete your account.
- You can use the app without the AI feature.
Children
Femish BizAI is for businesses and is not directed at children under 16.
Changes
If we change this policy in a way that matters, we will update the date above and tell you in the app or by email.
